Poetry

The meat of this section is the first part, "Forms," which introduces poetic analysis through a series of essays on some of the forms that poets have used in English. The next three parts supplement the forms essays with information on poetic terms, scansion, and the sounds of poetry. All of those areas link to external resources, and the final category of "Web Resources" seeks to organize some of the major sites devoted to poetry.
