Review Gradually

In other words, avoid cramming. Few college students review course material gradually and systematically, but study after study says that such review is the best present you can give yourself academically. As soon as humanly possible after a class, take your notes and go back over them. Then copy them into a more careful and organized form. This process has three advantages: it supercharges your memory, prevents most problems with notes that make sense at the time but later become incomprehensible, and isolates the questions that you still have so that you can ask your teacher or your classmates about them immediately.
