Test Your Notes
As you review your notes, you should make sure that you can use them to create a reasonably accurate record of an entire class conversation. If you do not take notes for twenty minutes of a class, you have left a hole for an exam to run through later. If you have already taken an exam in a given course, see how much of it your notes covered in advance. If you missed a question, was it because you didn't learn what your notes told you or because your notes didn't have the answer to give you in the first place?
