Shorter Assignments

Throughout the semester, the syllabus will include a number of shorter assignments that prompt you to respond to the readings and prepare for class. I mean these to be stimulating, low-pressure tasks. It is important to keep up with them and submit them on time because they often become the basis of discussion in the following class period.
