Paper Prototypes

This assignment means to demonstrate the value of trying out different ideas in the early stages of intellectual work, knowing that the stakes are low and that you will leave some ideas behind as you develop your paper.

To construct your prototypes, write two paragraphs of at least 75 words each about two different ideas for your paper. In each paragraph, identify something specific about our readings that you find odd or interesting. Then try out a way of thinking about that aspect of the work that might depart from or add to the way most readers think about it.
